Bringing Bangladesh's first-ever dinner cruise online

The challenge

Dhaka Dinner Cruise launched in 2018 as the first tourism product of its kind in Bangladesh — a premium dinner and day cruise created to showcase the immaculate beauty of the country’s rivers, and to build awareness around conserving them. Conceived and operated jointly by River & Green Tours and Green Holidays, with the support of the Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation, it was a brand-new venture with a completely new concept. It needed a credible online home: somewhere to explain the experience, present its cruise packages and vessels, and turn corporate and social enquiries into bookings.

Our approach

We designed and built the website on WordPress, so the team could own and grow the content themselves as the offering expanded. The design leads with the emotion of the experience — full-bleed riverine photography and a calm, editorial layout — then guides visitors into the practical detail they need before booking.

The outcome

The site gave a first-of-its-kind venture a professional, self-manageable presence from day one — and it has stayed live and maintained ever since. Years on, it remains the brand’s primary channel for presenting its cruises and capturing corporate and social event enquiries across Dhaka.
